The summer sun is setting. Time to let it all out before we round the corner into whatever comes with autumn. With this theory in mind, we went ahead and enlisted a hoard of friends representing a vast array of sounds, all based out of the Northeast region.
Recent transplant to Brooklyn via Baltimore, Lil Jabba provides a fresh take on the footwork sound, sprouting high energy and intricate beats. Jabba rhythms have been known to circulate the footwork battles of Chicago and the track lists of heavyweights like Rashad & Spinn. With a host of quality, self-released EPs including original Jabba artwork, we are happy to host someone truly running with that grassroots vibe.
Next up is the young upstart Jaw Jam, coming out of New Jersey. Only on the scene for a short time, this left field wonder kid has an album released via the respected Live For The Funk blog and is sitting on tunes coming via Tuff Wax and Kastle's new Symbols imprint. While we wait for those to drop, Jaw Jam will be hitting us with what he's on to next.
Tony Quattro & Copout hail NYC & Philly respectively, and represent a new wave of producers from our region who are melting funky & tech house sounds down with trap and ballroom rhythms to create some exciting hybrid house workouts. TQ has released on Top Billin' and Bad Taste Records featuring remixes by Doctor Jeep. Copout holds down Philly with our old friend Krueger; they also produce collectively as KNC.
The bearded riddim purveyor will be in the building, as usual, facilitating the groove.

JAW JAM :
JAW JAM is the bass music project New Jersey resident Will DiMaggio. Since its inception in the winter of 2011, JAW JAM has released a host of successful bootlegs and cuts exploring chopped-and-screwed sampling and eclectic 808 rhythms. Live, DiMaggio explores similar sounds while maintaining the old school UKG / Dub vibe that offered so much inspiration to his own creations. With a debut album via Live For The Funk and new tunes forthcoming via Symbols and Tuff Wax labels, expect to hear more of JAW JAM in the future.
