A cornerstone of Berlin techno culture is hitting Amsterdam during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). The famous Tresor club, that calls itself the mother ship of techno, is invited to Hotel Arena by event label I amtechno. The longest running club in Berlin, open since 1991, left a significant mark on the techno sound of today. On Saturday, October 20th this is emphasized at Tresor meets Deeply Rooted House.

I amtechno takes over two rooms of Hotel Arena for this special event. This is the first time in 21 years of existence that Tresor visits the Amsterdam Dance Event with a club night. The main hall is for Juan Atkins (U.S.), Terrence Dixon Live (U.S.), Surgeon (GB) and Mike Huckaby (U.S.) of Tresor Records, the record label of the legendary club. Juan Atkins is considered one of the fathers of Detroit techno.

Surgeon has made a significant contribution to the development of techno. By experimenting with the use of hardware and software, he balances on a fine line of DJing and playing a live set.

In the second room, clear Detroit influences can be heard at the showcase of French label Deeply Rooted House. The label and its artists have a warm relationship with Tresor. Special Guest is Patrice Scott, also a pioneer from the American motor city.

Bleak from Sweden plays a live set and Marcelus and Mondo get to play extra long sets to pull this special evening into the early morning. Hotel Arena is open until Sunday morning 8am for what already promises to be the most legendary night of ADE.
