The Community party returns to the Rainy City of Manchester after a short break and a hugely successful but exhaustive night with South African's number one House Music artist BLACK COFFEE, earlier this year. We certainly needed a well earned break after that intense event.

So now it all takes place at a new venue right in the heart Manchester called BASSMENT ( underneath UNITY RADIO ) and features guest artist OPOLOPO, who will be flying in from Stockholm to make his first ever performance in Manchester alongside veteran House Dj/producer Irfan Rainy from the record label Rainy City Music.

For those who don't know about the super creative music of OPOLOPO, he did the remix of Gregory Porter's massive anthem right now, " 1960 WHAT ? ' as well as the mega remix of ROGIERS - HOME, already a much played Community classic, hugely popular with the heads.

Bassment, on Primrose St, can be found behind the Mustard Tree charity shop on Oldham Rd, near Wing Yip Supermarket ( 200 metres from Oldham St) and 50 metres from Sankeys, underneath Unity Radio. This relatively new yet inti
mate spot is a great space to create an underground vibe, has decent acoustics, and has a smoking area away from the club too. The sound system as always will be amongst the best that you can hear in the city.

Community now in it's fifth year promotes true Deep House Music of all styles including Soulful, Jazzy, Afro and Tech, as well as Loft & Paradise Garage classics, influenced by the NYC dance music scene. Previous guest DJs PHIL ASHER, SIMBAD, REEL PEOPLE, JOE CLAUSSELL, GREG WILSON, JOJO FLORES, RALF GUM, JIMPSTER, KARIZMA, BLACK COFFEE, SEAN McCABE, GROOVE ASSASSIN, QB SMITH, SY SEZ, ZEPHERIN SAINT, AFRONAUT and MATT BANDY plus many others, have all brought the sound of original and true House Music to an audience of party people continuing the legacy of House Music, first created in the Black Music clubs of Manchester during the mid 80s, long before anywhere else in the UK.
