We are delighted to announce that our headline guest for the last party of 2012, joining us as part of his Twice Around The Sun Album tour, will be Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts.
Guillaume's album Face À L’Est, which appeared on Musique Risquee in 2007, brought him to the immediate attention of the global house & techno scene. After forging friendship with FunkyZeit friends Oslo Records, as well as the Raum Musik crew, Guillaume made a logical pilgrimage to Berlin, from his native Canada, in 2007.
Guillaume has a strong tie to the melting pot of the French underground house scene, having released music for Karat and eventually striking up a close working relationship with Circus Company, with whom he currently releases. His way is that of the carnival, wild and unrestrained but full of a positive, soulful exuberance, and it has brought him to many of the world's top festivals & clubs AND seen him named by Resident Advisor as one of the Top 20 Live Acts of 2011.
Our second guest is a producer and DJ who we've been fans of for a long time, Frenchman Alexis Bernard AKA Seuil.
Seuil moved to paris in 2000, it was there he began DJing in clubs such as Rex, Social Club, Nouveau Casino and La Scène Bastille. It wasn't long before his sound was in-demand internationally and slots at Panorama Bar, Fabric, Watergate, Womb, DC-10, and many others, duly followed.
Seuil also began producing prolifically from around 2005, releasing a string of highly-regarded tracks on Minibar, Freak n’Chic, Circus Company, Moon Harbour, Raum..Musik, Esperanza, and, of course, via his own label Eklo.
It was on Eklo that Seuil started the Eklo Music collective, assembling the likes of dOP, Boris Horel, Le Loup, Yakine & Aquarius Heaven. His latest project Hold Youth, created with friend and fellow Parisian Le Loup, has again seen him again reinvent his sound, as always to universal acclaim.
This will be another sell-out so please get tickets early to avoid disappointment.
