HACKMAN (Ramp / Greco Roman)

A firm favourite here at LSS towers, producer turned DJ HACKMAN is riding the wave that Funky and Dubstep began but still managing to move into unchartered territory with a steady stream of top-selling releases. His most recent smash ‘Forgotten Notes’ on the hugely influential Ramp imprint is a testament to Hackman’s discerning beauty that underpins not only his productions but his club sets too. His music effortlessly combines laid back soul infused grooves to move any sulky scenester onto the dance floor. Come bear witness a DJ fast approaching the top of his game, oozing class and style in equal measure.

MISTA MEN (Greenmoney / UTTU)

For our first foray into the London club scene, we thought it only right to invite some fellow northerners in the shape of Doncaster’s Mella Dee and Wooze a.k.a. Mista Men. Despite hailing from Liquid Steel’s home county of Yorkshire, this pair are no strangers to the capital having guested on Rinse FM and also appeared at Wifey, Urban Nerds and Audio Donuts. Bringing their own take on House and Garage with an unmistakable 4x4 Bassline influence Mista Men are part of the wave of producers drawing on Garage’s heyday and combining with modern electronic sounds to create infectious party tracks to heat up the dankest of dancefloors. Also carrying a Funky influence, there is enough colour in the crate to disprove the myth that it’s grim up north.
