Maxson

Edgar Aguilar aka Maxson is a producer, dj and promoter born in Jalisco, Mexico. In 2005 he began playing records having influence of genres like IDM and Techno. Especially in his teens influenced by artists as Autechre, Matmos, Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk and many others.

His music has been accepted by important local and international artists has been supportted by artist as Alex Under, Alexi Delano, Richie Hawtin, Mathew Dear. He has shared the stage with producers as Bruno Pronsato, Someone Else, Alex Bau, Ada, Oliver Huntemann, Marc Houle, Yapacc, Sierra Sam, Alex Smoke for name a few.

Maxson is part of 7 years project called Artica that focuses on the promotion of contemporary art in various Modalities, exhibitions, installations, or presenting local and international DJs and producers, ranging from the noise and experimental to dancefloor music, Artica has always been a project open to all forms of contemporary artistic proposal.

Maxson is Nonpop Records founder, this label is conformed by excelent Mexican and international artist
