Today the banter will be cut short and we'll get right to what matters: the music. Our headliner Miguel Puente, though younger than any of us here at Housepitality, in his short time on planet earth has released music on labels (such as No. 19) known for their output of extremely high-quality forward-thinking (though backward leaning) dance music. Miguel brings a house and disco sound with one foot in the old school, and one in the "nu". We look forward to having this globetrotting maestro in our booth.
Making his return after an extended music-making expedition to Berlin with his co-troublemakers in the PillowTalk group, Housepitality co-founder Michael Tello will finally grace us once again with his presence and his bag 'o tunes, freshly collected from all the finest (unreleased) sources in Europe. We are so stoked to have him back! (And you will be too!)
Finally, in the Groove Lounge, our friend Tasho Nicolopulous will be holding it down all night. Tasho is a man of many talents: an extremely capable DJ of house and disco music with a prodigious record collection and depth of knowledge, he also creates haunting live ambient music under the moniker Its Own Infinite Flower. He'll be wearing his DJ hat on this night though, so expect some disco-flavored awesome.

Miguel Puente Bio:
Born in 1986, in Monterrey, Mexico, Miguel Puente took an interest at a very young age in music. He was influenced by a number of instruments including the drums, piano, and flute. Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Run DMC, and Jay-Z are just of few of the many influences from a young age. It was no surprise that Miguel would have such a big involvement in this industry as an adult.Electronic music is the main focus for Miguel. He really wanted to take his passion and skill for this to develop his career as a producer/Dj.
In 2005, he began to gig at various parties and clubs in Mexico. If you know anything about Miguel, you will know that over the years he has developed himself into a confident producer. He is always driving himself to endless possibilities in creating sounds that express his originality as an artist. Production being such an astronomical part of the musician he is, Miguel wanted to know everything about the direct design of sound. Over the past few years, Miguel’s over-powering ability to create sounds, has made him develop an advanced way of looking, and forseeing where electronic music is heading.
Becoming a part of Digital Delight in 2008, opened up even more of a drive, and expanded his imagination in building himself as Dj and Producer. You can only expect Miguel to bring out the soul-full house, and disco-tech flow out of the diverse ensemble of Digital Delight. Funky floods pour out colours of old-school flares, mixed with new spices, giving him the reputation of an innovative artist, that brings out the groove in all of us. Miguel has shared booths with artist like Zev (Wolf+Lamb), Shaun Reeves (Wolf+Lamb), Le Loup (Wolf+Lamb), Jay Shepheard (Compost), Yakine (Supplement Facts), Camea (Clink), Adultnapper (Ransom Note), Stimming (Diynamic), HOSH (Diynamic), Solomun (Diynamic), Joachim Spieth (Kompakt), Tobi Neumann (Cocoon).
The man needs no introduction, but suffice it to say that the man is an incredibly talented musician, producer, DJ, and friend. His recent success with his outfit PillowTalk and production duo Signal Flow, have brought him to new heights in our little electronic music world. With European tours under his belt, and exposure to the art, music, and especially collaborators found on his travels, his DJing and production have improved exponentially. We're SO happy to have him back. For more info, check out his RA and Soundcloud pages below:
