Tiësto returns to London in 2008 to celebrate the release of his Elements of Life DVD, after another storming year that saw him win a prestigious Grammy nomination, and fill some of the world’s biggest venues with his mindblowing solo show. Having sold out 2 nights back to back at Brixton Academy in 2006, and the majestic Alexandra Palace on his Elements of Life World Tour in 2007, Tiësto will be playing the stunning, state-of-the-art IndigO2 for this rare and exclusive show.
The concept behind his latest album also formed the basis for his ‘Elements of Life World Tour’ which took him all over the globe. The four elements of earth, water, air and fire formed the crux of the visual concept for the tour, with a level of production never seen before in the dance music scene. The mesmerising show featured state-of-the-art special effects, moving water systems synchronized with the music and high-definition video screens. 3 trucks were needed to transport this awesome set-up across the world. Combined with his epic, atmospheric sound, this created an incredibly impressive audiovisual spectacle – which has been perfectly captured in the awe-inspiring ‘Elements Of Life’ DVD. This extra-special one-off event sees the launch of this landmark dance music film, and gives the great British public a chance to witness the stunning show at first hand.
On December 6th, Tiësto's album 'Elements of Life' was nominated for one of the most prestigious awards in recorded music, a GRAMMY in the Best Electronic/Dance Album category. The album continues its success, having sold over 72,000 albums in the US to date and reaching golden and platinum status in numerous other countries globally. To support his album Tiësto has been touring with his Elements of Life world tour, selling out venues in the US such as the LA Sports Arena with an attendance of 15,000 people and the prestigious Hammerstein Ballroom in New York two nights in a row. The tour lands in almost all continents from North-to-South America, Europe, South Africa and Asia, reaching hundreds of thousands of people with each single event on the globe being sold out in advance.
