To celebrate the brand new student influx and mark the arrival of the fresh faces to Manchester, the idea behind our September event is very, very simple. It offers an introduction to the effervescent Manchester music scene with a 6 hour session of Deep House featuring purely homegrown talent at Manchester's brand new Funktion One filled venue, The Function Room (above Odder) on Oxford Road.

Seelie (One Records, Illusion Recordings, FNR)

Having DJ’ed with the likes of Chez Damier, Argy, Prosumer, Adam Shelton, and Tristan Da Cunha, Seelie’s inspired productions and DJ Sets have caught the ears of some of the best house labels and parties. Seelie's music and DJing captivates anyone with a feel for the groove and tickles the taste buds of any discerning house head. His house purist attitude shines through and his talent sets him apart from his peers, so keep a close ear to the ground and come into Seelie’s HOUSE!

Perry Louis (La Loop)

If this is the first time you've seen this name then read on! If not, i'm sure you are very much aware of the man that is Perry Louis. Having been a resident at Leeds House night LaLoop, Perry showcased his clear skill behind the decks and experience of tune selection and has most certainly gained the reputation needed to stand out from the over-populated dj population. With regular sets at Sankeys, The Mint Club and The Faversham in Leeds, we look forward to Perry's September offerings. EXPECT WAX, EXPECT HOUSE, EXPECT TO DANCE!

Larry Jones (Beany Sessions)

Larry Larry Larry! You gots to love a bit of Larry! Co-founder/Resident DJ & Promotor for Beany Sessions, a monthly party featuring the best music Manchester has to offer, Larry has a clear vision and that is to bring the party with him! If anyone was at our summer event Just30 to witness Larry's explosive set, i'm sure we'll be seeing you once more on the 21st September! A firm THiCK AS THiEVES favourite, i'm sure he'll soon be one of yours!
