After the birth of our new record label ‘Big People Music’, BPM are back with a bang, ready to bring some of the UK’s biggest and baddest underground sounds to Manchester.

In collaboration with HYPERDUB, BPM are very proud to present TERROR DANJAH’S Manchester Debut alongside the DARK CRAWLER tour. Bringing with him one of ROLL DEEP’S baddest MC’s, the legendary RIKO, this night is set to go down in BPM History!

Following the release of ‘Dark Crawler’ on Kode9’s HYPERDUB label, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome these grime dons to Manchester’s Mint Lounge alongside our trusty residents!

TERROR DANJAH:
Terror Danjah’s work in UK Grime has had some of the most influential and pioneering movements of the decade.

Spending much of his early career championing the sounds of D Double E, Skepta and Wiley off his Aftershock label, and playing a role in launching the careers of Kano, Tinie Tempah, Mz Bratt and countless others, Terror Danjah has given us some of the most celebrated and successful artists to date.

Following the success of Terror’s ‘Undeniable’ album off Hyperdub in 2010, his focus as a producer turned to a young Elijah & Skilliam, whose first release off their label Butterz titled ‘Air Bubble’ helped to elevate their developing label in over a year as one of Grime’s leading and most distinguished musical outlets.

Terror’s reputation as a pioneer and trusted eye for groundbreaking talent was echoed through the form of Ruby Lee Ryder. When the two collaborated on ‘Full Attention’ off Hardrive Records they received massive support from Radio 1, 1xtra and Rinse FM, and the track was constantly on rotation.

With more releases and talents like D.O.K & Champion seeping through the Bass scene Terror’s work for Hardrive, Hyperdub & Butterz has seen his reputation grow from strength to strength.

Now back with Hyperdub ready to release the ‘Dark Crawler’ album on Sept 25th, BPM’s positioning for the Dark Crawler tour on the 26th couldn’t have come at a better time! Bringing with him one of Roll Deep’s most respected MC’s and the man behind the Dark Crawler bars; grime’s original Warlord Riko Dan, expect a night that’ll go down in Grime History. You’ll never forget this!
