Promoter / Technokunst, A38
It doesn’t really matter, if you favour Chris Liebing’s, Luke Slater’s, Marcel Dettmann’s or Len Faki’s sets recently, one thing's for sure: you’ll encounter a track from Pfirter. Why is that? Because besides all the up-to-date european party people, the above-mentioned artists also go haywire for the productions of this Argentine genius. Soon, we’ll see the reason: Juan Pablo Pfirter will play on Technokunst in October!
It’s pretty hard to decide, where Pfirter is adored more: in his home, South-America, where he was practically raised to a demi-god platform in the last fifteen years, or in Europe, where he started to be recognized four-five years ago, and cannot be dropped ever since then. He toured all over Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Venezuela and Ecuador multiple times, while all his stopovers in Europe - and recently his move! - mean one single reason for celebration for the crowd of the most famous techno clubs. He conquered the dancefloors of The End, Club4, Tresor and even Berghain - no wonder, that his releases found their homes in the bags of the biggest, such as Joey Beltram and Terrence Fixmer. Of course, they are housed by the créme de la créme of labels, too: CLR of Chris Liebing, Figure of Len Faki or Stroboscopic Artefacts of Lucy all released Juan Pablo’s wondrous and versatile techno music. His world approaches techno sometimes through (the real) minimal, acid or even elektro, as a DJ he prefers the releases of M-nus, Semantica, Plus 8, Kompakt or Prologue. The result is always the same: ecstatic craze until you drop.
According to the traditions, the event will be opened by Isu’s set, and Dork will cool the crowd down until the birds start chirping. Visually we’ll be enchanted by the Glowing Bulbs’ imagery. See you at A38 on October’s Technokunst!
