_Steve Bug

Dubbed "Germany's very own taste-maker" Steve Bug is one of the country's most influential and respected musical ambassadors. In 1999 Steve launched Poker Flat, the pioneering minimal tech-house label
responsible for future classics by John Tejada, Trentemøller and Bug himself. Since then, Steve has released a string of mix cds for his own Bugnology series as well as Cocoon, Fabric, FUSE and NRK and has even launched two further labels to explore all corners of the 4/4 beat. Over the years Steve has become a regular guest and firm favourite of System so we're very pleased to welcome him back for our next season of events.

_Dj Qu

Ramon Lisandro Quezada aka DJ Qu is arguably one of the most interesting musicians to come out of New York in recent times and is responsible for spearheading a new wave of US house and techno alongside his friends Jus Ed, Levon Vincent and Fred P. DJ Qu first came to international prominence with his offering on the seminal “Expressway EP ” on TS records in 2006 and also with the launch of his own label, Strength Music. DJ Qu’s djing talent goes beyond his recent profile as a producer, however, as he was already
something of a legend in New York for his outstanding dj sets and his residency at New York institution
HouseDanceConference. More recently Qu's reputation has spread with several appearances in Ibiza,
Germany, Japan and Russia all under his belt so far this year.

_Alex Smoke (Live)

Alex Smoke is a different kind of techno producer. At a young age he received a coveted scholarship for Durham Cathedral Choir School, where he excelled on the cello, piano and drums. With a production style that draws from multiple influences blurring the boundaries between electronica, techno, classical and hip hop, Alex was soon snapped up by the legendary dance music label Soma Records. He went on to release two albums and several high profile remixes. More recently Alex's album "Lux" reconfirms him as an innovator of electronic music regardless of his relatively short career. We are delighted to have Alex Smoke play for, what will be, his first System performance.
