Created based on the success of Sydney’s clubbing institution SPICE, Spice Afloat was born over 8 years ago. Since then the SPICE brand has spread its wings further with the opening of The Spice Cellar – lounge bar, nightclub and live music venue.

The concept behind Spice Afloat is a simple and the first of its kind in Australia. A landmark Sydney cruise taking place on board an amazing cruiser “The Bella Visa,” and providing a unique party playground on Sydney’s spectacular harbour alongside 1000 like-minded music lovers.

To help deliver the best possible maiden sunrise of 2013, Spice Afloat will have an indoor stage and an open air rooftop stage from 4am until 10am on new year’s morning.

The boat, the party, the people, the music and the atmosphere all adds up to create the ultimate wonderland on water. Spice Afloat is one ticket that you don’t wanna miss out on. The Cruise features international artists and the finest Australian DJs headed up by H.O.S.H and Tiger & Woods.

First and Foremost, H.O.S.H. considers himself to be a DJ, someone who praises the art of mixing records and sequencing journeys. Testament to that are his residencies at the likes of Watergate, Studio 80, Warung or EGO in Hamburg over the last few years.

His productions and remixes to date - for labels like Kindisch, Get Physical, Supernature, Freerange, Strictly Rhythm, Tsuba and more - have blended house, dub, minimal, classical instruments and world music influences. H.O.S.H has also been an integral part of the Diynamic wheel since 2006 (alongside sometime flat mate and label boss Solomun and frequent collaborator Stimming)

This is one duo that has been shrouded in mystery. Those special extended disco versions that have been carefully tuned, remixed, over-dubbed, sliced and diced by Larry Tiger and David Woods have caused quite a stir. In a heavy and endless rain of edits, they are a cut above the rest.

Looking to the future, while digging in the past, Tiger & Woods use both recognizable and exotic sources supplemented with original production to take you to undiscovered terrains that somehow feel like home.
