Following the release of his first record entitled the Electrolites EP, on his label "King Nail Records" Dancepig left Dublin to set up a studio inthe Prenzlauer Berg area of Berlin.
His second EP attracted the attention of electro don
David Carretta. Carretta's label "Space Factory" based in Marseille,France, is to release Dancepig's "Beneath Me EP"featuring remixes from Swiss producer Plastique De R and Carretta himself. Finally get a release early Januuary. We can also look forward to Here Come The Invaders
EP to be released on Electrobot Records Berlin later in the new year.
On the live circut Dancepig "just played new years gig here in Berlin in Club Maria am Ostbanhof, probably the biggest electro club in Berlin. It went down a storm and has been asked back for a date in March.
He has just set a new a new studio space in Kreuzberg in Berlin and will be spending the next 3 months in there intensively coming up with a concept album. I'll be deploying my Ableton live set which I've been
playing recently that includes new tracks and some remixed older ones.
Dancepig has shared a stage with names such as Dr.Lektroluv, The Hacker,Vitalic, Alden Tyrell, 2 Many DJs, DJ Serge, Andrew Weatherall, David Duriez,T.Raumschmiere and David Carretta.
This is Dancepig first proper club date in capital since the summer when he was one the main acts at last years Lovebox. His last date a Kennedys in May was a full house so get down early.
Jon Averill is a heavy hitter on the Dublin circuit for some years now formerly of Backlash he left to start bigger and better things when Backlash had run it's course. Shock! have have a number successful nights in various venues throughout the city with guests like Rory
Phillips and Padded Cell.
Ian Bright is no stranger to The Underground having worked the dancefloor on many an occasion so it will be good to welcome back to set the paceon the night. Ian currently holds down a residency at Village with
Sapce Camp's Steve Manning.
