Leftroom Records started out back in August of 2005 in Nottingham, England. The label is the creation of Matt Tolfrey and musically, it was one of the first labels of its kind in the UK, showcasing the off centre sound of house, disco and techno.

Over the last 7 years, with the introduction of sublabels, Leftroom Limited, Left'd and Foot And Mouth, the whole Leftroom brand has turned into a bit of a super power within the dance music scene having notched up a ridiculous amount of releases with a seriously impressive roster including artists such as Laura Jones, Waifs & Strays, Simon Baker, Huxley, Sam Russo, Audiojack, Glimpse, Gavin Herlihy, Subb-An, Inxec, Kate Simko, Ryan Crosson, Marc Ashken, Johnny D, Jamie Jones, Lee Curtiss, Eats Everything, Guti, Guy Gerber, Maya Jane Coles, Maceo Plex, My Favourite Robot, No Regular Play, Shonky and dOP to name a few...
