Line-up / Kid Fonque, Jullian Gomes, Lemon & Herb, Mphesnyk, Tanzzanite, Nuno
Ah Comrades! It’s that time again.
We apologize for the break in transmission, but we had to make sure that our follow up after the Mi Casa Event was an improvement, and not just an event for the sake of having one. With the arrival of the long-awaited warm weather, what better way to entertain our Comrades in VIP style than an exclusive rooftop party in the city?
Safe, secure, top class entertainment…enjoy the most stunning views of Joburg from midday, through sunset and into the night.
For your pleasure we have the legendary Kid Fonque and Jullian Gomes. The ‘Fonque’ needs no introduction and Jullian is signed to the great Martin Iveson’s Atjazz record label. Relative newcomers Lemon & Herb, and Mpeshnyk are two acts that also won the Atjazz remixing competition – these gentleman will be taking you on a whole different journey. The Munnibrotherz will be in attendance too – A pair of ground breakers from Port Elizabeth, signed to the mighty Justin Martin’s Dirtybird record label. The lovely TanZzanite and her brother, the deep house enigma Nuno will too be rocking with us as well.
Hey and for you non-house music lovers, don’t think we neglected you! We have a killer Hip Hop & Rnb set coming your way too!
And our fellow comrade and rockstar phototgrapher Christopher Stevens from The Arthaus Media & Lifestyle Group brand will cover the event, and immortalise you experience with the best in urban lifestyle photography. These peeps were with us at the last Junta event in March and have been supplying you with facebook profile pictures for some time. If you did not already see the images from the last event, find them here.
As usual we don’t deal with entrance fees and other admin issues that you normally experience with the more mundane events you may have been to in the past. We invite only our best comrades to join us on this day and every Junta event. We want you there! Register on our site for this event - junta.co.za
Until we see you, cheers comrades!
