We hope you all enjoyed our last Friday Optimo (Espacio) party at the Sub Club. The atmosphere, heat, and queue (!) was absolutely incredible.

On Friday 5th October we return and are very VERY excited to be joined by The G.D. Disco Band.

The GD Disco Band started life as a studio collaboration between Glasgow's noise punk trio, Ultimate Thrush and Glasgow's all analogue house duo, Silk Cut. The results of their collaboration stunned all who heard them, not least Twitch who after one listen asked if he could release the project on his Optimo Music label (the resulting screen printed 12" will be out in November).

Hard to describe but a little akin to Arthur Russell's Dinosaur L jamming with Bobby O, K Alexi Shelby, Liaisions Dangereuses and Sly & Robbie, it is in our opinion one of the best records to come out of anywhere in 2012. Their gig at Optimo, by which time they may have changed their name, will be their live debut.

We expect nothing less than total devastation. Do not miss it.
