With September's event likely to sell out we are happy to announce that Slam will be joined by an all-star lineup In October too when Vitalic, Dave Clarke, Karotte and D'Julz hit town.
Slam are currently working on a new album due for release in 2013 and are also preparing a mix CD for the 'Masters' compilation series. Recent appearances at Berghain, We Love... (Ibiza) & Fabric have been the highlights over the summer, and looking forward the guys have Click at the ADE, Womb (Tokyo) and Pressure's birthday in the coming months.
The French techno pioneer Vitalic returns as part of his 'Rave Age' album tour. 'Rave Age' (mixed by engineer Stephane Alf Briat of Air & Phoenix fame) is Vitalic's third studio album and will be released on Different in October this year. The album retains his trademark synths and heavy drums, but brings a fresh angle to his sound. Since riding the wave of 'Flashmob', with his subtle, between-boundaries electronic indulgence, Vitalic promises to deliver a live set packed with innovation; twisting and tweaking the crowd to pump out subtle and inventive sounds.
John Peel once dubbed British born, Amsterdam based Dave Clarke 'The Baron of Techno'; a name that has stuck through his career as a world-renowned techno DJ and producer. For two decades Clarke has toured the world every weekend playing to crowds of thousands, as well as the smaller more intimate venues. Recently DC has featured on BBC 6 Music taking to the decks for a 2-hour '6 Mix' show.
Karotte is probably one of the biggest party animals of the notorious German DJ scene. At 36 years of age and 20 years of DJ experience, he uses his own unique mixture of house and electro: dramatic, innovative, sometimes funny, always extremely exciting and unusual, to conquer the hearts and minds of his crowd. His appearance at last years Electric Frog is testament to this. He recently mixed the 'Faze #02' compilation which was out in May. Karotte hold residencies in Cocoon (Frankfurt) and Harry Klein (Munich) and has a weekly radio show – Karotte's Kitchen on www.sunshine-Live.de
D'Julz, one of France's finest tech-house producers and DJs joins the party too. A mainstay at Ovum and Circus Company and promoter of the esteemed Bass Culture record label and parties in Paris, he is held in high regard by fans and peers alike. Recent productions include his remix of Franck Roger on Real Tone and his remix of Spencer Parker on Radio Slave's Rekids imprint.
