Decadence is an opportunity for Rinse FM DJ, Plastician to cram 10 years of music into an exclusive 2 and a half hour set; journeying from the dark garage roots of dubstep through brittle grime and mountainous dubstep. Joining him is a cross section of artists as lively as his set is to be with MJ Cole bringing his trademark flex, Newham Generals and Logan Sama ft. Merky Ace representing the grime, with J:Kenzo powering through the stoic 140 and El-B taking it back to the swing of his lauded Ghost label’s heydays.
Soul:ution returns to Room Two with the type of lineup that revels in the individuality of its composite parts. Marcus Intalex headlines with his trademark take on d&b, Calibre will present his own unique stylistic vision, celebrated MC, DRS will perform his guttural sonics and powerful vocals and then there’s the pointillist production styles of Alix Perez and Lenzman to get spun in.
Dusk & Blackdown just released their second album ‘Dasaflex’ so their second Room Three takeover will undoubtedly be an opportunity for them to let off some steam alongside Hyperdub’s Kwaito leaning production trio, LV, United Vibes and soon to be underground titans Logos, Visionist, Beneath and Wen.
