For an exclusive stop on his Europe tour, SOJU BAR and FIN DE SIÈCLE proudly present JUSTIN VANDERVOLGEN for this wednesday special.
Justin Vandervolgen is a DJ and Producer living in Brooklyn New York. Known for his extended sets, varied styles of music and liberal use of fx, he’s traveled around the world playing his take on what dance music should sound like. In 2008 he began the edit moniker 'Try To Find Me' on Golf Channel Records. After four releases and one mix cd the series is already labeled by many a dance music classic. His edit of Jo Jo Zep's 'Losing Game' going under the title 'Needs Ending' became one of the most played balearic hits in 2011 and is still having its impact on the leftfieldish dancefloors. 2008 also saw the beginning of a musical partnership and label birth with Lee Douglas called TBD. In 2010 he released the 12" Clapping Song which became a staple of not only small room dj’s but big room festival jocks as well. Even the german pope of Techno Sven Väth licensed the track for his annual "Sound Of The Season" in 2011.
Justin started the year with an outstanding double episode on Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space radio show, which set new standarts for followers of the show all over the world. Just in time for this year's summer season, Justin contributed two dancefloor-filling remixes for Soft Rocks on ESP Institute and for Phreek Plus One on Prins Thomas' label Internasjonal, which became both instant classics and some of the biggest tunes of the season.
