Autumn will be a distant memory as the cold, hard and blustery nights set in over Leeds this November. Luckily we have penned in a couple of winter warmers for those seeking some sonic hugs in a mug with a few familiar faces and a couple of new additions, all taking place in the brand new, industrial surroundings of Canal Mills art and event space.
Innervisons’ Ame returns to mono_cult to once again remind us why he is still an essential booking after nearly six years. Another familiar face in the form of Joy Orbison makes a welcome return. Familiar face and one of our favourite guests from the past few years, Joy Orbison makes a welcome return with a crate of acetate to break in the new space. After a commanding performance at our intimate warehouse space Full Circle, Canal Mills sets the stage for Levon Vincent to take control of the 1210's with hypnotic shuffling New York House and deep techno.
Sticking with the New York theme, Beats In Space Radio’s mix-master general Tim Sweeney makes his mono_cult debut this November. After catching Tim lay down an unbelievable eclectic selection of house, techno, disco and soul in Berlin in January this year, Tim became booking priority No.1.
Rounding off the min-festival vibes, Kölsch makes his highly anticipated Leeds debut. After years of huge productions under the Ink and Needle guise on his own Tattoo Records, Kölsch signed to the seminal Kompakt imprint, releasing ‘Speicher’ 70 featuring the huge underground and mono_cult anthem 'Der Alte'. Hazy intelligent synth-led anthemic house and techno.
