Sunday October 14th 2012 will see the doors of sonic perception in our fair city burst wide open by way of a shiny new music event, This Is Nowhere.

We invite you to indulge in the subterranean sounds of artists from home and from afar. Music lovers of many varieties will be treated to an audible buffet of musicians and performers – some familiar and some foreign, some underground and some more surface-inclined, some to satisfy the ones who want to sit still and listen, and some for those who want to dance.

The setting for This Is Nowhere has been carefully selected as one that will enhance the already enchanting sounds of the line-up, in order to create a total sensory experience.

Feast your ears on tasty tunes in a clearing beneath a canopy of pines where the light only dapples, in a theatre where the audience is one with the acts on the stage, and in a courtyard full of giant manmade mushrooms.

The entire venue is licensed, which means that you are free to wander with drink in hand. Delicious and affordable food and beverage merchants will ensure that no one goes empty-stomached (or empty-pocketed).

There will be plenty of toilets. There will be lots of parking and public transport options. There will be a plethora of fun things to do. Capacity is limited so everyone will have enough room for their own, uninterrupted experience. A party of likeminded music lovers will surround you, and together you will venture into a phantasmic frolic through subtle states of musical mind.
