Hello to you all dear Friends,

Here we are, to celebrate in style our second anniversary!
It's been two years of rare and amazing parties, and it's now time to give a massive thanks to the great crowd
you are and to everybody that has played and worked with us from the first night.
For this occasion we teamed up with Bread & Butter to bring two live sets to blow your socks off:

DAN BERKSON & JAMES WHAT Live (Crosstown Rebels - Pokerflat)
GLIMPSE Live (Hotflush - Planet E)
JAMMA & MAX (Bread & Butter)
LUCA RUF (Nice1)
FELIPE DUBLANC (Nice1)

After a one of a kind performance exactly one year ago, is with great pleasure that we welcome back Glimpse, this time doing a live set!

In a career which has spanned only 10 years, Glimpse has established himself as one of the most versatile, imaginative and talented producers that the UK has to offer today. With EPs forthcoming this year on Hotflush, Aus, & Hypercolour this shows no sign of slowing down. His warm analogue approach to production and his live sets have gained him support from a broad range of artists including Carl Craig, Levon Vincent, Richie Hawtin, DJ Koze, Scuba, Ricardo Villalobos. Sven Vath and Jackmaster.
From the early days of his hugely successful, uncompromising techno ‘Black Series’ on Glimpse Recordings, through to the groove-laden techno of ‘Drifting’ on Planet E. 2010 also saw him fully pursue his deep organic take on house via his Crosstown Rebels singles and album – this musical range has gained him the respect of his peers and culminated in two successive nominations in DJ Magazine’s prestigious ‘Best British Producer’ category.
His energetic live shows and DJ sets incorporating his beloved Roland 909 are already a regular fixture in South America as well as Japan (in part due to a loyal following at Tokyo’s club-of-the-future Womb)
It has also taken him regularly to Australia and North America, as well as European clubbing meccas such as Panorama Bar, Tenax, Fabric, Cocoon and Tresor. A specific highlight in his career came in summer 2010 when an epic run of gigs at Space Ibiza’s Kehakuma party culminated in him being invited to close the evening on the Flight Area stage (outdoor Car Park) at the Space Closing fiesta. As he wrapped up the show, in front of a 5,000 strong crowd, he joined an elite crew containing literally the biggest names in the history of dance music.

Our second live is a duo well know worldwide: Dan Berkson & James What are joining Glimpse for a total of 3 hours live set.

Dan Berkson and James What are a London based electronic music production and Live performance duo. Meeting in London in 2006, Dan and James discovered similar and eclectic musical backgrounds and a shared passion for forward thinking house and techno. They began to produce a blend of their individual soundscapes, debuting their Live Show at the infamous Sonar festival in the summer of 2006. The success that has followed has seen the duo tour extensively with a Live performance that is not only engaging to hear but equally mesmerising to watch.
James What studied music and sound engineering at the acclaimed LCM and SAE in London and released his initial solo productions in 2005. He has since gone on to make and release his solo and collaborative music with Dan Berkson on some of the industry’s most recognized labels such as Pokerflat, Crosstown Rebels, Murmur and Dessous. Chicago born Dan Berkson has been a professional musician since his mid teens and spent his early years as a successful keyboard player before studying at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Numerous projects in jazz and funk saw him tour America and in the late 90’s Dan relocated to London to study music production. Dan has gone on to produce and release for labels such as on Exun, Crosstown Rebels, Hypercolour and Gourmet as a solo artist and alongside James.
Their combined and mutual influences of jazz, techno, house and funk find themselves layered to create a truly unique sound niche. An mix of raw classic house and the shrewd darkness of organic minimal and techno ride of each other’s core elements, resulting in a solid yet emotive signature. Stripped down and meticulously produced, the duo use laptops, synthesizers and drum machines as their key tools to create improvised tech house with a jazz edge. Elegantly arranged, classic yet head strong, Dan Berkson and James What’s cut’s are a firm staple in dj boxes worldwide.

Completing the team, we have the B&B bombs Jamma & Max, and of course the NICE1 residents.

Tickets are already out on RA with a bunch of early birds to grab now.
