Juan Atkins:
Widely known as The Godfather of Techno, Juan Atkins had founded the genre himself with two other Belleville High School classmates, Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May. Since those times he’s defined the game with countless successful projects including Model 500 and Cybotron. Flash forward to 2012, you can find Juan Atkins touring the globe and still playing anywhere from Ibiza and Berlin to festivals like Movement and WMC. Come Join Mr. Atkins this winter for an extended set full of classic and contemporary tracks.

Brooklyn Bass:
An up-and-coming blog on the NYC circuit, Brooklyn Bass is quickly making their rounds within the electronic scene. Hosting a monthly after-hours residency at The Cameo Gallery, you can find DJs Judge Wise, T’Angelo and Evan Michael hosting the most current local artists such as Anthony Naples, Das Moth, Micachu & The Shapes and Cut Mistake Music. All three of these young editors take their time to carefully curate their blog with the latest reviews of international dance tracks and nearby happenings. Be on the look out for their monthly podcasts and weekly event listings as well. In a live context, expect these dudes to hold no bars. T’Angelo and Judge Wise throw down shaking Bass music and Deep House, While Evan Michael stirs it up with House and Disco classics.
