INIGO KENNEDY is a highly skilled, pioneering and dedicated DJ and producer and without doubt one of a rare breed, a true DJ’s DJ.

His sound can be described as introspective, emotive techno; delving between the elusive, fast-paced tempos reminiscent of the ‘90s and the cerebral, self-reflecting riffs of modern electronica. With a discography comprising over 100 releases on luminary labels such as TOKEN, RODZ KONEZ, SEMANTICA and STROBOSCOPIC ARTEFACTS to name but a few, his projects and contributions are far-reaching and widely revered among artists and fans alike.

INIGO has always been at the forefront of techno production, his sound is ever changing and forward thinking. He can be cold, harsh and abrasive, while also keeping a melancholic lightness to his music with sets which are impressively direct and focused yet musically highly developed.

Way back in 1999 he started his own innovative and genre defying label ASYMMETRIC, then in 2003, in an attempt to stay honest to his vision and not succumbing to the pressures of commercialisation, he turned the imprint into a free-of-charge net-label, sharing and spreading his untainted sound around the globe.

In 2007, Belgian label TOKEN was born with the release of KENNEDY''s 'Identify Yourself'. Since then, each of his EP's has been a milestone in the label's growth which is more widely recognised as a platform for intelligent techno with each release.

More recently, in July 2012, INIGO and UNSEEN resident PATRICK WALKER collaborated as WALKER and KENNEDY on the well received “3 Stacked Layers, From Macro To Meta” (Inner 004 ) on Inner Surface records.

With an impressive 10 releases and remixes so far this year, INIGO KENNEDY’s latest offering “Spectre / Wonderhorse” (Token 24) is released in September 2012.
