ll roads lead to Brixton’s hot spot ‘Plan B’ this December for the launch of the ‘Delfina’ series. DJs, partners in crime and all round troublemakers, Ben and Oscar, have teamed up to create a fresh and exciting music-centric venture with guest acts including Simon baker, Spencer Parker and Sam Russo; and that’s just for the first night!
THE LINE UP -
Simon Baker (2020 Vision)
London based Simon Baker pitches between house, deep house and techno, with his debut LP ‘Traces’ on 2020 Vision last year – greeted unanimously by the electronic community with accolades from Resident Advisor, Mixmag, DJ Mag and Electronic Groove, receiving a 5/5 as ‘Album of the Month’ in DJ Mag and ending up in the former’s ‘Top 20 Albums OF The Year’ –Simon showcased his most musical side to date.
Simon is a regular fixture at the BPM festival in Mexico, Kehakuma at Space in Ibiza, Fabric in London, not to mention the many air London showcases in Miami, Paris, Barcelona and Ibiza, in the months to come he looks to add to his mindboggling back-catalogue with a plethora of forthcoming releases and collaborations on some of today’s hottest imprints.
Spencer Parker (Rekids/Tsuba/Ovum)
Spencer Parker is one of Europe's leading DJs, his unique style of house music is in demand the world over and with his productions, remixes and re-edits being supported by names such as Radio Slave, Luciano, Dinky, Richie Hawtin, Steve Bug, Nic Fanciulli and Locodice, the future looks bright. Spencer's musical style is simply described best as, underground house and techno. Spencer is an experienced and adaptable dj that knows how to take the peak time of an already great night to the next level, as well as close out the night in style, anywhere in the world. Now, with his production and remixing skills developing at a rapid rate, and releases on some of the worlds best underground house/techno labels out now, or due imminently, the package is complete.
Sam Russo (Leftroom)
Sam Russo’s hunger to spread his ideas globally is driven by an open minded approach to the floor. Sam’s take on electronic music is rooted in the smooth rhythms of US house and garage, tempered by the expansive deepness of Basic Channel and Maurizio. He is currently expressing these ideas through his own solo productions and a prolific series of studio partnerships. Russo prides himself on finding unique tracks no one has heard of or played before. With an attitude that keeps alive the true spirit of DJ’ing, he thrives on building up a track library on both vinyl and digital. Able to blend both old and new, his ever expanding appreciation of music and rhythm gives him the edge as he continues to build his burgeoning reputation.

The award-winning Plan B is a leading mid-sized venue in London. It features a huge Funktion One sound system and a 24 hour license, plus a stripped back, warehouse-style interior that lends itself to after-hours partying.

Plan B is easily accessible by tube, bus, overland train and car. The club is a 3 minute walk from Brixton Tube (Victoria Line), a 9 minute walk from Stockwell Tube (Northern Line, and a 2 minute walk from Brixton overland station (trains from Victoria and Bromley). Brixton has excellent bus services – details are available from the TFL website. There are plenty of parking spaces locally, with most resident parking bay restrictions ending by 5.30pm.
