Justin Miller:
A DJ like Justin Miller really encompasses all the New York house and disco scene has to offer. As the assistant label manager to DFA Records during their biggest years (LCD Soundsystem, The Juan Maclean, Hercules & Love Affair, Still Going, Benoit & Sergio) Justin has made many friends along the way. He now gigs regularly around town, co-headlining nights with the likes of Jacques Renault (Let’s Play House) and Justin Strauss (Whatever/Whatever). He’s now started his own label, Have A Killer Time which will soon see pressings including a debut from himself.

Nooka Jones:
From the funky abstract bubblings of Falty DL, Seafloor and Soul Clap, to the pure house stylings of Oliver $ and Catz n Dogs, to producers of the moment like Addison Groove, Boddika, and Sepalcure, Nooka touches on all of the various genres and sounds that make up the wide open world club music is enjoying in a post-dubstep moment.

Brooklyn Bass:
An up-and-coming blog on the NYC circuit, Brooklyn Bass is quickly making their rounds within the electronic scene. Hosting a monthly after-hours residency at The Cameo Gallery, you can find DJs Judge Wise, T’Angelo and Evan Michael hosting the most current local artists such as Point Break and Driphouse. All three of these young editors take their time to carefully curate their blog with the latest reviews of international dance tracks and nearby happenings. Be on the look out for their monthly podcasts and weekly event listings as well. In a live context, expect these dudes to hold no bars. T’Angelo and Judge Wise throw down shaking Bass music and Deep House, While Evan Michael stirs it up with House and Disco classics.
