When we went to check our coats in the guy behind the desk said to us 'don't worry your stuff will be safe...' Maybe it was a sarcastic warning as they knew from the start it had disaster written all over it.

1. Myself and a group of friends arrived at 22:50 to an event that hadn't even opened properly. The cloakroom was yet to be set up (and numerous trips by staff were required just to confirm the price), neither was the bar and it had no ice.
2. Surprised only a few people have commented on the fact that the lights came on after only 2 hours of Robag's set. One of the main attractions of this event was the 'extended 3hr sets' so feel a bit shortchanged about Robag coming... More

Not only was the event a first for the cloakroom idiocy (as someone else mentioned, if it wasn't the kind of event it was then I think there would have been a riot in the place), but also for the set being cut short - I've never experienced that before either! I spoke to one of the security guys, who in my case was decent, but he didn't even know why the lights went up and was as suprised as the rest of us. Overall - A... More
