Andy Stott, Ninos Du Brasil, Primitive Art, Seth, Stefano Annibale, DNN
S/V/N/#3, Savana Underground, takes place in the former CGD music label in collaboration with BUKA. A unique spot, abandoned kingdom symbol of the music industry collapse, whose walls and windows are now an underground temple of new Italian and international talents. Among red velvet, baroque details and old LaserDiscs on the walls, the two rooms alternate experimental performances with exciting new club sounds.
Yet Savana Underground is not just a location to the point. The live performances will show how submerged and sometimes upsetting sounds can involve the public as well as critics. Let’s think about the Milan preview of British producer Andy Stott. Launched by Modern Love (Demdike Stare, Claro Intelecto), Stott has climbed the top of the electronic music worldwide with his deep, complex and oddly beautiful rhythms. Primitive Art, instead, through their music and images reflect on the changes of life starting from a research on tribal sounds. Nico Vascellari’s Ninos Du Brasil, on the other hand, are dedicated to an ambitious mix of Brazilian music, noise and electronics, always dragging the audience into a whirl of decomposed and liberating dance. Seth, Stefano Annibale and DNN closing acts represent the BUKA soundsystem with the quality and turmoil of the electronic scene in Milan.
