For our first show of 2013 we continue our residency at South London’s Corsica Studios. Headlining are FCL, the collaborative project of San Soda and Red D, who burst on the scene in 2010 with their ‘Vocals For Everyone EP’. Since then further releases and remixes cemented their status as purveyors of some of the finest house music around (not even taking their individual music and dj sets into account) and the limited release of ‘It’s You’ in August proved an instant classic with copies being listed on discogs for over $650.
Support is provided by Midland who by now should need little introduction. An EP on Aus as well as genre defying collaborations with Pariah and Breach have shown Midland’s ability to capture a unique sound without being boxed into one genre or scene. His track selection is second to none and we’re excited to have him return to play for the third time. We’re also proud to give recent RA Breaking Through subject and resident New Yorker Anthony Naples his UK debut fresh off the back of his well-received Mad Disrespect EP on Mister Saturday Night and remix for Four Tet. Warming the room up is someone who knows how to get the party started, Mr Solid Gold – the brains behind one of our favourite London nights Trouble Vision.
After amazing stories of their performances when they took over Panorama Bar in September, we also invite legendary NYC night The Bunker to host the second room for another UK debut, bringing their in demand residents Derek Plaslaiko and Bryan Kasenic with them. Finding himself on many critic's end of year lists with honourable mentions for his sophomore album ‘Luxury Problems’, Andy Stott will be headlining contrasting the warm sounds in the main room with something a bit darker.
We're also hosting room 2 for Louche x RBMA with Omar S, Kyle Hall, Hunee, Simoncino & Mr Beatnick on January 26th. Full details can be found here: http://on.fb.me/SajYXW
