After the major success of the first edition, Sónar São Paulo returns in 2013 to present a new circuit of cutting edge musical and artistic creativity.

Since 1994, the Barcelona International Festival of Advanced Music and New Media Art has become a unique urban event with a distinctive character that acts as an international platform for new talents and a showcase for innovative projects. Its annual edition in the city of São Paulo traces an unprecedented circuit through avant-garde musical and artistic creativity.

Sónar São Paulo was designed with the intention of bringing the philosophy and all the elements of the Sonar event that has made it the international reference that it is, to the back drop of the Brazilian city; A musical and audiovisual program of high standard and a distinctive experimental component set within an important urban enclave and distinguished space as is in this case the emblematic Anhembi.

The difference is that Sónar Sao Paolo will focus all its activities and shows in the evening, those of whose prime essence is the staging of new talents, experimentation and new technologies, as well as the big performances and audio visual shows.

The festival will include various stages with varied capacities situated within Anhembi that will make up a wide range of activities throughout two days.
