ALEX PEARCE / QUANZA RECORDS

Brandishing his signature style of Tech house and Electro, Alex Pearce’s productions and live performances take aspiring audiences on a musical journey. Pearce’s live DJ sets boast a unified sound aimed at challenging the audience’s senses and giving them an undeniable urge to dance. His arsenal of mixing, programming and track selection have earned him the chance to work alongside A list artists such as Tiesto, Sander Kleinenberg, Seb Fontaine and Behrouz to name a few.
Pearce has emerged as an irrefutable talent on the global dance music scene now holding a residency at world famous
Cielo and frequently headlining events up and down the east coast, South America and in his native NYC, at places such as Pacha, Sullivan Room and Love. Still what defines Alex as an artist is his original production and remix work. He has become acclaimed for his work as a producer with releases in ’08 of “Carbon”, on Spice Cadet Recordings and “Purpose” on Freq1see Records, a remix of John Digweed protégé Royal Sapien’s original “Everything I Love is Underground;” and his own original Electro bomb “Dat Sound.” In 2009 Alex signed his latest track, “Double Hit” a tech stomper to an Italian record label, set for release in Fall of ’09. This in addition to founding his own record label last year, Quarterlife Records, has given him an outlet for extending his gritty NYC house sound across the globe.

COLIN PERKINGS / DUBLIN / IRLAND

An electronic producer and Dj from Dublin, Over the past number of years he has made a name for himself playing alongside some of the biggest names, including Erol Alkan, Annie Mac, SBTRKT, Jennifer Cardini, Boys Noize and Hot Chip at events such as The Trinity Ball and Oxegen. 2012 saw him join Spin 1038 with Arveene on Transmit bringing the best electronic music to our airwaves each Saturday night.

The traditional functionality of Techno | Minimal | Tech House music must always be present, but for Matias Jofre its all about taking risks and trusting his instincts, which is why his particular style is varied, covering a whole lot than just sound effects, bleeps and glitches. The Argentinean native is one self-motivating and persistence music entrepreneurs in his scene. Taking matters into hi
s own hands made him stand out with his weekly events in Manhattan, New York that manages to inspire those around him to greater heights.
Matias Jofre finds inspiration through worldwide club culture. Making appearance’s in the Tri-State area ( city,state.club names & any big name DJ’s) have led to his weekly Rite of Wednesdays at KARMA LOUNGE and many mores since 2008 also collaborating to make possible Momentum a Techno Happy Hour that already passed the first year with a vibrant following. Experimenting with sound design, mixing and producing, Matias is not the one to sit still. He’s rapidly growing, taking on different approaches to try new things for his parties.
Melody plays a significant role in his work, often providing darkness to his music there is an uplifting cathartic side that generates such a positive vibe to the dance floor.
