Mutual Dreaming presents.. PPU VIDEO PARTY REDUX! People's Potential Unlimited (PPU) is a very special record label in DC known for discovering and reissuing some of the weirdest and best ultra-rare boogie / funk from the 70s, 80s, 90s++. For this warehouse party, label head Andrew Morgan comes out of secrecy to DJ from his ultra-coveted vinyl collection, joined by LA's underground taste-maestro Tom Noble - together forming the ultimate disco-boogie dream team. Live hardware sets by PPU's new signing, Moon B, and L.I.E.S.' white-label hero Terekke. Like last year's video party, the music will soundtrack two walls of analog live video mixed by Luke Wyatt, creator of the sought after ‘PPU Video Party‘ DVDs, which are full of bizarre and amazing dance party footage & 'video mulch' / VHS high art freekiness. As always there will be party lights, a little fog & drinks.. come dance!

The mysterious man behind the Peoples Potential Unlimited imprint.. you may not have heard of him but there are record nerds out there tracking his every move. Known for discovering would-be oddball classics such as Midnight Express' 'Danger Zone', and Estonian funker UKU KUUT who sings with his mom, his label hones in on a perfectly quirky & deep, funky strain of forgotten music. Some of the records he plays are among the only copies in the world- because he found them at thriftstores & private collections in places like Silver Spring, Maryland - who knew it was a hotbed for wannabe Michael Jacksons who missed the mark so good? His set last year was one of the very best of Mutual Dreaming so far –it’s a pleasure to have him return!
