After the great success of the Smallville showcase during Amsterdam Dance Event Aspirations returns to the mothership, de Amstelhaven. This round we are serving up one of Berlin's best kept secrets: a 3 hour set by Johannes Albert.

Johannes Albert started his musical journey at the tender age of 14, too young to visit clubs he found himself spending every last Mark at his local record store. Soon his alias Vinylgroover had materialized and the young Johannes began studying his local heroes, observing their stylistic characteristics and techniques. He slowly began to understand the most important aspects of the trade: a broad plethora of musical styles, technique, playing classics at the right time and last but certainly not least: "Keeping the fun on the dancefloor"

Albert has released on Oskar Offermann's WHITE label and founded his own imprint entitled Frank Music in 2011. He is at the beginning of an international career behind the decks and we are proud to present his debut DJ-set in the Netherlands!
