Kompakt boss Michael Mayer dropped his second LP, Mantasy, last October after an eight year gap between album projects and this Saturday we’re celebrating his comeback masterpiece in Room One in an extended set with him. Joining Mayer is Craig Richards and Mathmatics producer, John Heckle, who debuts his love for hardware in a live show of Chicago-esque sounds, rocket firing the Heckle further into 2013.
Last year was a prolific one for German techno DJ and Berghain resident, Ben Klock. Following his fabric 66 compilation - voted a true favourite in the end of 2012 polls - we’re also still reeling from his stamina testing sets both in Farringdon and Berlin for his release launch party, last October. In the wake of Ben’s epic techno sets returning to Room Two, we’re also excited to welcome back, Dutch pioneer of techno for over twenty five years, Steve Rachmad and, as ever, our resident, Terry Francis.
The last time Bristol funk machine, Futureboogie took over Room Three they sparked a body-moving frenzy with a night of hustlin’ party jams, crackling disco-funk and cosmic soul. The Futureboogie DJ's return with PBR Streetgang who have a release coming soon on Futureboogie Recordings and fellow Bristol duo, Waifs & Strays who have previous releases on Hot Creations and 2020 Vision.
