On the cusp of releasing his second full length album Fences LP, John Roberts is always pushing towards house music innovation. It began back in 2008 after being asked by Carsten Jost, Pantha Du Prince and Lawrence to be the first American artist on the Hamburg based label, Dial. His first album Glass Eights was acclaimed for the incorporation of organic sounds in a minimal and refined form. Growing up in Cleveland, John had always been influenced by the Detroit and Chicago House sound and still finds inspiration between those elements and that of Berlin, where he makes his home now.
