For our first event of 2013 we thought we'd mix things up a little bit and bring you a whole label rather than just 1 headline act!

SOUNDS OF SUMO

Having started as a club night Sumo has developed into a record label and bookings agency, representing the best of new and established talent within electronic music. The last 6 months has seen Sounds of Sumo emerge as one of the UK’s most exciting up and coming dance music labels. Refusing to be pidgeon holed into one particular sound or genre, SOS is constantly pushing the barriers and boundaries with each release striving to sound different from the last. The label was the first to release an EP of Mele who is now establishing himself as a top producer at just the age of 18. Canblaster is another who has worked his way up the ranks since his Jetpack EP release on SOS in April. With recent EPs from Kry Wolf, Whole Sick, Submerse, Kingsin and Hybu making their mark in the charts the label has gained support from a wide range of industry heads. Growing by the day, with lots more to come!
