Motion & Rubix are back at Digital after selling it out in September. Headlining the main room is MK. Marc Kinchen is a true pioneer and legend of House music, responsible for creating some of the defining sounds and biggest tracks of the early house, such as ‘Burning’, ‘4 You’ or ‘Push The Feeling On’. The man from Detroit then took a break from House music and went on to produce music for the likes of Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Will Smith, Ne-Yo and Beyonce and even work Quincy Jones.
After recently deciding to come back to genre he helped define in the 90s, MK is now as relevant as ever within the house music scene, recently releasing a joint ep with Lee Foss on Hot Creations as well as remixing Hot Natured’s ‘Forward Motion’ for the Benediction ep. He has also just dropped remixes of Huxley on Tsuba, Storm Queen’s ‘Look Right Through’ and Lana Del Rey’s Blue Jeans’, as well as releasing a House Master CD for Defected. Surprisingly this is a Newcastle debut too.

Italian duo Flashmob have had one of the biggest tracks of the year. ‘Need In Me’ was hammered this season in Ibiza, one of the most charted tracks of the year and has over 1.3 million plays on YouTube. Flashmob’s smash “Brick House’, on Get Physical, became one of 2011’s underground anthems. They have carved thier own niche, the widespread appeal of which is unprecedented. Not many tracks get spun by both Kerri Chandler at DC10 and Pete Tong at Pacha in the same season. Other stand tracks include ‘Ninety Five’ and their remix of ‘Back To The Future’ by Andre Crom & Martin Dawson. ‘Hot’ blew Digital apart on Boxing Day when Darius Syrossian opened his set with it.

Upstairs Rubix present Breach, the new alias Ben Westbeech, who is getting lots of hype at the moment. Now with his own 'Naked' imprint making a bold statement of intent with it's first release, "You Won't Find Love Again' is a perfect slice of underground house magic, a departure from the tribal and drum heavy "Fatherless" that brought Breach to the attention of the bass music world. With release on RAMP sub-label PTN, Claude Vonstroke’s off kilter house label Dirtybird , Catz n Dogz pets recordings as well as collaborations with Midland, Breach is making big waves at the moment. . His recent Boiler Room DJ set is worth a watch also. Support from Ape-x residents Jammhot who recently signed to Huxley's Sonnets and Saints and has a release of LeftRoom sub-label Left'd.

In the third room, local mid-week party Loop will be bringing the vibes, as their residents take over all night.
