We've had a pretty mental couple of months here at Just Jack, with a nice piece of silverware for the mantlepiece and a sell out 7th birthday show in the bag. Thing is we can't help but feel its all got a bit hectic of late… so we're taking it back to basics - just 2 underground heroes as headliners, a smaller and more intimate venue and a whole load of classic Just Jack shenanigans. Ladies and gents we proudly present BACK TO JACK.

Heading up the show is a man who requires little introduction. Alex "Omar S" Smith has been a stalwart of the Detroit movement and a key figure in house and techno since his arrival many moons ago. His tracks have underpinned many a Just Jack party and have become a staple in the boxes of almost every house & techno DJ on the planet. His outstanding Fabric 45 CD consisted entirely of his own productions, a brave move that paid off in a big way, encapsulating that authentic Detroit sound and Omar's uniquely brilliant production style. Since then he's gone from strength to strength, single handedly running FXHE Records and maintaining an immaculate output thats cemented him as one of the worlds leading producers. We've loved this guy for a long long time, and its taken us a while to grow some balls and fly him all the way from Wayne County Detroit to the shores of sunny Bristol town but we've finally done it... and we're pretty bloody excited!

Taking the reins for room 2 is another one of our favourite DJ/producers, Jay Shepheard. A firm fave of many here in Bristol, this guy has an insatiable ability to capture all those special things of house, disco and techno and blend them all together to make one seriously juicy concoction. His RA mix a year ago was one of the best RA mixes we've ever heard, and his Retrofit label is nothing short of sensational.

Providing cover fire as always comes the quality low-slung sounds of Tom Rio and Dan Wild, 2 residents who have shaped the rise of Just Jack over the years. They'll be joined by a selection of friends and family who will all be unveiled soon.
All that and we haven't even talked about the venue yet… wow… you're in for a treat at this one :)
