(All things House/Techno/Disco/Bass)
***50 TICKETS ON THE DOOR***
The first of a series of intimate parties in the basement of Plan B, Brixton.
Simon Gold aka Park Ranger is manager of Bicep and Blondes as well as A&R and Label Manager for More music which has seen him sign the likes of Midland, Toby Tobias, Marc Romboy and Many Others.
As a DJ he is most notably known through his 4 year residency with Trouble Vision which was awarded the DJ Mag ‘Best Club Night’ in 2011 and is largely responsible for establishing Corsica Studios as an internationally recognized hub of underground dance music. Right from the start Simon has followed the Trouble Vision brand to a whole host of clubs and festivals including the likes of Just Jack at Motion in Bristol, We Love at Space in Ibiza and Stop Making Sense in Croatia.
One of the great pleasures about listening to one of Simon’s sets is the sheer diversity of records that he is able to present in the context of House music. He’s an advocate of vinyl/analogue and has been collecting records for over a decade. With an offering to the House Music scene that is somehow deeper than production, we want to give him the platform to play an extended set as a headliner.
Park Ranger’s performance marks the start of a series of Meet. parties that will be bringing a host of DJs into the centre spotlight.
(The Basement of Plan B is 180 capacity with Funktion 1 sound. It will be entirely closed off from the rest of Plan B and has a separate entrance, bar and toilet facilities)
