Nihad Tule (SLOBODA / RANDOM ISLAND / 1.53:2 / DRUMCODE)
Esther Duijn (EXQUISITE MUSIC | PARALLEL)
Nihad Tule has lately emerged as one of the most profilic producers on
the Swedish techno scene with energetic appearances in clubs souch as
Berghain and Tresor, plus his resedent spot 2.35:1 in Stockholm.
Born in 1984 in Mostar (Bosnia-Hercegovina), his family sought refuge
from the war in their native country and settled down in Norrköping on
the Swedish east coast. Nihad soon became hooked by electronic music,
producing and DJing. This eventually led to releases on swedish labels
Sway and HzTrax, to name a few.
His sound developed, gradually becaming more minimalistic and leading
to an impressive string of releases and remixes on respected techno
labels such as Drumcode and Truesoul.
Lately his releases for Drumcode LTD, Sleaze and Random Island were all
well received by the techno community, gaining support from names like
Adam Beyer, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, DJ Rolando, Joel Mull, ROD, etc.
This led to the launch of the label SLOBODA, premiering with it's first
release Shatter/Squalid in early 2013. Releasing exclusively on vinyl,
SLOBODA is dedicated to solid futuretroesque techno explorations, with
the desire to showcase Nihad's unique and, above all, multifaceted sound.
