Berlin based Label Ostgut Ton has been voted for the ‚Best Label 2008’ by Resident Advisor with a unique sound architecture, pushing forward the world- famous Berghain signature sound. Ostgut Ton managed to foster an idiosyncratic style with an uncompromising and coherent release policy. The label has become one of the most influential platforms for Techno and House, providing their Berghain- and Panorama Bar residents an artistic home.

Berlin born DJ, producer and label owner Ben Klock whose name is synonymous with the vitalization of an essential definition of techno. He is without a doubt one of the most significant characters in Techno’s recent history. A resident at Berghain since its opening in 2004, he has been able to leave his mark on the club’s unique sound. Playing techno sets full of hypnotic, deep and heavy grooves, releasing records on Ostgut Ton and last but not least the aesthetics of his own label Klockworks (founded in 2006), have earned him an excellent international reputation over the last few years.

Ryan Elliot :What matters most, above all else, is what comes through the speakers,” says Detroit’s Ryan Elliott. “It must be the right track at the right time, delivered in the right way.” Nobody knows this better than Elliott, whose distinction as an internationally respected DJ and remixer, has grown steadily over his decade behind the decks. In 2009 Elliott relocated to Berlin to further his focus on DJing and production but even after his relocation, Ryan Elliot’s sound remains unchanged: bass line -driven techno and house reduced to their essences, thoughtfully calibrated to drive crowds out of their minds. The time is right, the tracks are right, and Ryan Elliott is exactly where he needs to be.
