Jagger and the Bat
On Friday February 1st we get straight back on the monthly Arthouse wagon with one of the most exciting guests we’ve ever booked. Hailing from Macedonia and now based in Berlin Stojche is without question one of the best DJs and producers around. Inspired by 90s techno Stojche has gone on to develop a distinct sound that walks the line between genres creating heads down, elbows in the air, rolling dance floor monsters that everyone is clamouring for a piece of. His productions have been released on such legendary labels as liebe*detail, Subwax, Dogmatik and his own very much revered imprints Tangible Assets and Argumento. These records will improve your life.
Behind the turntables Stojche is a King amongst men. His sets are built on a ferocious selection of rare underground house and techno that he has amassed over the years and sets aside especially for his live gigs (check out any of his podcasts for just a taste of what to expect but be warned he saves the best for his gigs). His credentials are undeniable, playing alongside Sven Vath, Kevin Sanuderson, KiNK, Booka Shade, Maya Jane Coles and many more. This has all the ingredients to be something very special and will leave you screaming for more…
Jagger and the Bat are on warm-up duties and of course the Deaf Institute Basement room will be fitted with extra sound and anyone that arrives before 11pm will get in for a bargain £6 (£7 after 11pm). Early bird tickets and advanced tickets are available from our website for £5 and £6 respectively (WE ALSO DON'T CHARGE ANY BOOKING FEE).
We highly recommend checking out some of the links below to get a better feel of what to expect. This party is going to be a big one.
