Emerging from the UK’s biggest thriving music scene outside London is Leeds based DJ, Jack Wickham. Already an established DJ with over 5 years experience in both performing and making music, Jack fell in love with House & Techno back in the summer of 2008 when he was exposed to the seductive music and insanely gorgeous vibes of Cocoon at Amnesia, Ibiza. And he was addicted.
Jack’s style stems across House, Deep House and Deep Techno, consistently being influenced and imbued by other DJs, sounds and inspiration around him to create his own unique image. Carrying a mixture of deep musical passion, a collection of delicious music and an open minded perspective, Jack established himself within the music industry and has since received positive reviews.
October 2011 saw Jack taking his musical knowledge to the next level; he began making his own music and it being an inspiring success. Jack has been occupied with releases coming out on DJ W!ld’s label, Catwash Records, Dorcas, G Records and Art Of Dark in London, Jack also has remixes from Adam Shelton, DJ W!ld and Alex Noto whilst undertaking the role of Label Masterer for Art Of Dark. An exciting future is planned with collaborations alongside Julien Fuentes, Dale Howard, DJ W!ld, Domy and James Barnsley.
Seeking more than just getting lost in his relationship with music making, Jack decided to indulge the house heads in Leeds by starting up his own event called In:Vision with close friends. Having launched back in just November 2011, In:Vision has already seen the likes of Jordan Peak, Adam Shelton, Tom Craven, Rob Mello, Franck Roger and James Barnsley with more excitable DJs planned to play later this year elevating the event’s already sterling reputation. In:Vision has a passionate crowd who come to the events, sharing a deep affinity towards each other and the music making the night relishable and one to definitely follow.
Unquestionably one to look out for, Jack Wickham will be around a lot over the next few months and years creating a musical significance within the industry..
