I’m a Cliché- French DJ and producer Cosmo Vitelli created I’m a Cliché in 2004. Beside the ability to release his own production (and later, his band Bot’Ox’s music) without depending on anybody else, the aim was to discover and release the production of artists he liked. An aesthetics of the margin took shape.I’m a Cliché has been a balanced mix of club hits and home songs, reverence to the past and experimentation, obstinacy and volatilty. With a pattern of soon-to-be-big musicians : Yuksek, Simian Mobile Disco, Azari & III, Runaway were all memorable signatures of the label.
Cosmo Vitelli- French DJ and producer Cosmo Vitelli founded I'm a Cliché and 2004 and is a half of Bot'Ox, who are currently releasing through six EPs their second LP "Sans Dormir".
He has followed a path that questions the statement made by the label he created: “I’m a Cliché”. Obsessed with the idea of artistic and business independence, he has been patiently digging unsuspected mines of good music for 15 years, as a DJ, as a label head, as a producer and as a simple music passionate. Cosmo Vitelli was born in 1973 and grew up in the Ivory Coast and the centre of France. A young adult in Paris, he played as a guitarist in several indie rock bands before he was done with gazing his shoes. Killing time with a 4-track recorder and a sampler, he sent a demo to Alex Gopher and Etienne de Crécy’s label Solid. His first EP as Cosmo Vitelli was released in 1998. Many EPs followed, some hits like “Party Day” and “Robot Soul” broke through the airwaves, and this first period of his producing career logically culminated with the release of "Clean", his first album, in 2003.That was when the story of “I’m a Cliché” began..After several EPs on DFA, DC Recordings and Marketing, the band released its first album “Babylon by Car” in late 2010, on I’m a Cliché, followed a few months later by the soundtrack of French movie "Mineurs 27". In December 2012 started the releasing in parts of their second LP "Sans Dormir".
Red Axes- Red Axes is a project created by Tel-Aviv based producers and DJs Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi. The duo has been performing together for over 6 years, first as members of the new wave / post punk band Red Cotton. After living in Amsterdam and traveling in Europe, the guys returned to Tel-Aviv and began an underground psychedelic electronic party series called "Break It!".In 2009, they established a new vision and concept for all of their artistic endeavors - focusing on house, disco and techno. Several Red Axes EPs came out between 2009 and 2011, on Statra Recordings and Klasse Recordings. 2012 started with “Tour de Chile” EP on I’m a Cliché and continues with another EP on the same label, “1970”, in addition to remixes and original tracks for La Belle or Clouded Vision. Their work in editing masterpieces and live-performing helped them push their boundaries both as DJs and as producers. In the Tel Aviv night scene they were booked to play alongside Luciano, Richie Hawtin, Pilooski, just to name a few... Playing in Tokyo in summer 2012 was a step further towards transcontinental recognition.
Crackboy- The mysterious and anonymous beat junkie has been known for long on the Paris scene under his real identity. The range of labels where he's been releasing his dope-loaded dance tracks since 2011 - I'm a Cliché, Tigersushi, Get the Curse, Zone... - shows what family he belongs to. "Crackwood EP" was his latest effort on I'm a Cliché: three original tracks, three dirty hits.
Tim Paris- After building up a dj reputation in Parisian underground circles, doing parties with Jef K, Chloé, Alexkid and Ivan Smagghe, Tim Paris teamed up with Jef K to help him develop the now infamous Crack & Speed label. Working the dancefloor but also developing his skills in the studio, Tim Paris had his first breakthrough with the remix of a rock tune called “Future Now” that have been picked up by Ralph Lawson’s 2020 Vision label and became one of the biggest underground tune of 2004. From there Tim Paris didn’t stop and continued to release quality tracks and remixes that are praised by the most discerning djs. Now based in London, Tim Paris started in 2005 his own label Marketing Music while producing music as a solo artist, with Pete Herbert as Challenge and Ivan Smagghe as It’s A Fine Line
