Join us as we gather together promoters, djs, industry types, and music lovers alike for a festive day-into-night of music and revelry. And this time it's for a good cause – supporting the 2013 Music & Art Peace Academy held aboard the Peace Boat on it's Latin American leg this summer.
Rarely do we get a chance to do what we love solely for the benefit of preserving the future of our music. NOSI Music has dedicated itself the the discovery and development of young talent worldwide, and specifically in Latin America. In order to preserve, protect, and proliferate our shared vision of peace and love through music, we must be leaders in it's creation.
NOSI Music and the supporters you see mentioned above could not be more excited about our involvement in this project. All of the supporters, artists, labels, promoters, and media channels will be recognized as sponsors of MAPA 2013 and the representatives of NYC's dance music community that helped make it happen.
DJ TAMAKI (Parties 4 Peace; Tokyo)
Parties4Peace and the Patagonica collective invite Tamaki Maruta, a talented techno producer from the underground techno scene in Tokyo, to join our South American tour in 2013 us as the headling artist. He will accompany us on our journey that includes cultural events and techno parties in various cities throughout Chile, including Santiago, Valparaíso, Concepción, Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales, on a tour that travels the coastline of the southern most region of the country from February 7 -15th, 2013.
A regular supporter of Parties4Peace, TAMAKI has selflessly offered his talent as a DJ on several occasions for the P4P
FOREST events in the mountains of Japan and the Patagonica music events in Tokyo, supporting both educational and
environmental causes through music and art with Parties 4 Peace.
Having spent most of his time developing a solid music career in the Tokyo underground scene, TAMAKI has a unique sense
of ryhythm that allows him to create original melodic techno tracks that he plays at some of the best club events in Tokyo,
including the YUK parties at the famous club Yellow, Cross Mountain Nights (CMN) at Club WOMB, KONZEPT MAUS, the
Neverland outdoor Festival, and the more recent popular afterhours at JAM.
During his early years, Tamaki was surrounded by a wide variety of music, including genres such as JAZZ, ROCK, SOUL and the BLUES, which later influenced his own musical production. Currently, his style is referred to as a mixture of deep and techhouse, recognizeable for its hypnotic melodies that dominate the dance floor. As a producer and DJ, his independent productions and DJ sets capture the audience with his unique and flavourful musical style.
TAMAKI is currently one of the best producers of the Tokyo underground scene. His work is demonstrated through a selection of tracks that were published on records such as Summer Vibes vol.1 edited by the label “Zeitlos Music” and Kreeps vol.8 with the label “Keep on Records”.

MAPA 2013 (Music & Art Peace Academy)
The MAPA project invites musicians, artists, photographers, designers, writers, actors, and videographers who are interested in creating a project together to promote a culture of peace through music and art while traveling together onboard the Peace Boat ship for ten days for the (MAPA) Music & Art Peace Academy.
Participating artists will work together to record music, create art with various communities and construct a common piece of work that focuses on sustainability and international peace as its main theme. After the ten day voyage, we hope to hold exhibits with the works created in various cities around the world.

PARTIES 4 PEACE
Parties 4 Peace was founded in the year 2002 in the heart of the club culture of Japan and continues to raise awareness through music and art as it travels from Tokyo to New York City. We invite artists and promoters to volunteer their time and talent to help raise awareness and fundraise for important international campaigns to promote environmental awareness, human rights and sustainability across the globe. Having organized parties in the underground club scene of Tokyo, we have expanded our events to Santiago (Chile), Caracas (Venezuela) and New York City (USA).

PEACE BOAT
Peace Boat is an international non-profit and non-governmental organization that works to promote peace, human rights, equal and sustainable development and respect for the environment through educational programs, cooperative projects and advocacy activities on global peace voyages. Peace Boat carries out its main activities through a chartered passenger ship that travels the world on peace voyages. The ship creates a neutral, mobile space and enables people to engage across borders in dialogue and mutual cooperation at sea, and in the ports that we visit.
Parties 4 Peace is now fundraising to support youth programs onboard the Peace Boat that promote sustainability during their global voyages in the Latin American region. For more information on our travel throughout the world, please visit our website:
