Are you ready to Get Lost?

An offbeat Miami sidewalk during the early morning hours, far from the glamour of South Beach, the ominous repetitive rumble of bass reaches a line of revelers waiting under a flickering neon sign. A door opens, the partygoers, all shapes and sizes, creeds and colors, find themselves ushered in, only to Get Lost…

Over the last eight years Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels’ Get Lost party has become the cornerstone of Miami Music Week. A focal point for those looking to experience something different in the overcrowded party scene, a surefire destination at which to hear cutting edge music, and see some of dance musics most exciting names, take audiences on mind-bending musical journeys.

2013 will set a new precedent, as Crosstown Rebels celebrate its tenth anniversary at Get Lost Miami. A combination of the label's artists including Infinity Ink, Fur Coat, Subb-An and Francesca Lombardo will be joined by some extra special friends like Carl Craig, Eats Everything, Heidi, Tiga, Tini, Skream and Sneak, over the course of the 18 hour marathon.

While the headlining talent at Get Lost might be unmatched, those who have attended previous Get Lost events know, it is often those guests who sets are unannounced that provide some of the most inspiring and memorable moments of Miami Music Week.

This year as ever, Get Lost will take over all areas of Ice Palace West formally Karu & Y for an immersive musical experience. Starting EARLY Saturday morning in the dual interior rooms, the Rebels will subversively soundtrack your morning, before opening up the Pickle’s (extended) outdoor terrace at 11am for a full day of sundrenched musical madness.

Get Lost Miami will be a marquee stop on the colossal 10 years of Crosstown Rebel Rave 2013 tour, which sees the Rebels cross five continents and eighteen countries, led by label founder and flagship artist, Damian Lazarus. The past twelve months has seen Crosstown Rebels launch a mystical festival, Day Zero, and reconnect with classic artists from the label’s history such as Mathew Jonson, Jamie Jones, Tiga & Dinky as well as typically introducing a sea of new faces such as Francesca Lombardo, Amirali, Fur Coat and Aidan Lavelle.

The ten year celebration year looks to be one of the most exciting in the label’s history, with albums from key label artists and new talents, and Get Lost stages and stops at some of the world’s biggest and best festival and club events.

LIMITED tickets for Get Lost Miami will be sold at the door from 11am on the day of the event... ADVANCE tickets are strongly recommended.

Crosstown Rebels will be making a donation to Miami based charity American Children's Orchestras for Peace (http://americanchildrensorchestras.org/) who provide music services for underprivileged children.

Sun, 31 Mar 2013Dont DJs play for the love of Music anymore? No. Some DJs pretend that they never opened the night.

Mon, 25 Mar 2013I arrived and he was setting his laptop up in the room. Unfortunately, Subb-an was playing to about 10 people in the room at that time. A lot of this had to do with the fact they made Get Lost a 'no-re-entry' party, and people didn't want to come that early for a party that would end at midnight or later. No reason for a guy like Richie to play to a room that empty so either he or Damian pulled that plug on his set.

Mon, 25 Mar 2013He was apparently setting up and then disappeared. It was pretty empty in there so maybe he wasn't up for playing to an empty room.

Mon, 25 Mar 2013Hawtin sucks. Who cares? This isn't his type of party. Not nearly enough day-glow for him...

Have to say the guy from Droog def played best (as usual) and of course Art Department dropping the bombs!

Good job Kenny G. always playing the music that is best to dance to!

Thanks Damian and Rebel Crew ... once again the PARTY everyone still talking about!
