One DJ that the Alwayz Frydaze crew have longed to have play is the man from S’Express, Mark Moore. Not only is Mark well known for his part in S’Express but is also largely recognised as one of the main leaders in the electro scene with his monthly night Electrogogo featuring DJs such as Marc Almond, Bille Ray Martin, Bobby Gillespie, Siouxsie Sioux, Carl Craig, Bjork and Infadels. 2008 looks to be a good year for Mark with numerous releases in the pipeline including on Kitsune, plus remix work for Soft Cell & Temposhark. Joining Mark on night is Australian electro breaks fave, Klaus ‘Heavyweight’ Hill, who is Ministry’s main man down under. Klaus is head honcho of Sydney based label Title Fight, which has been previously nominated for best Breakthrough Label in Breakspoll Awards. Tonight he plays things all things breaks with a tech and house feel. Making up the basement bill and providing the baile funk, jackin bassline and fidget house is AF residents, Korkus.
Dlate (www.myspace.com/dlate) host the terrace upstairs with music coming from highly tipped Swiss artist, Gregorythme, who is responsible for house & techno label Cadenza Records. Dlate also welcome local talent and Filthy Gorgeous resident, Scott Martin. Not only has Scott held a ‘We Love...(Space)’ 2 year residency in Ibiza but has also made appearances on radio stations such as Kiss, MoS, Unknown FM and Ibiza’s very own HFM. Completing line up is Dlate’s very lovely Rich NxT and Hypercolour co-founder Alex Jones. Together they help provide the minimal, house and techno.
Plus 2 for 1 drinks before midnight, then £2.50 Red Stripe, £3 Vodka & Mixer/ Draught. And free shuttle buses and London’s largest clubland garden with queue free smoking area.
