Anthony Naples is fast becoming one of the most relevant new producers of the moment. Based in New York, he has had recent releases on local, 'Mister Saturday Night Records'. Reinforced with a B-side remix for Four Tet, Naples was unlikely to pass by unnoticed.
In November '12 he was further exposed with a first-rate Louche podcast and a Perrier ‘Breaking through’ accolade via Resident Advisor.
Now with the London based Secret Agency, he is being booked on this side of the Atlantic – most notably playing between favorites Fred P and Dinky at Berghain last month.
In the past few weeks Anthony has launched his new label Proibito. Which will see it's first release April 2nd through an EP from Royal Crown of Sweden, AKA Huerco S. This month has also seen an EP on London label The Trilogy Tapes, rapidly gaining support.
It’s clear that Anthony’s influences are not blinkered by years of dance indulgence, but drawn from a wide mixture of experiential discipline.
