For those who have witnessed Leftroom boss, Matt Tolfrey and his magic behind the decks, you’ll know his sets are always charged with an all-important tension and atmosphere that oscillates between house, techno and all-out rave. Tolfrey might be a regular in our Farringdon circles but there’s also a debut appearance from Gavin Herlihy plus Germany’s young gun, Sven Weisemann is set to twist a live show of down-tempo deep house jams, heard previously on his tracks for Delsin and liebe*detail.
For over twenty years, Scottish godfathers of techno, Slam have always delivered the goods live, in between their SubClub residency, co-running Soma Recordings and playing across the globe each week. This Saturday, they keep a firm grip on Room Two next to Terry Francis and Irish duo, Psycatron, who have released on Carl Craig's Planet E Communications as well as their own new Inflyte Records, perform live on stage.
